The Virginia Destroyers of the United Football League have announced that they have signed former West Virginia quarterback Pat White. White will compete with veteran quarterback Chris Greisen, who helped the Florida Tuskers reach the UFL championship game last season.
“I didn’t know whether or not this would happen,” said White. “It’s a blessing and playing [for the Destroyers] is a great opportunity .”

The Virginia Destroyers announced the signing of quarterback Chris Greisen. Greisen played with the Florida Tuskers last season, and led the team to the UFL Championship game. Greisen signed with the Dallas Cowboys after the UFL season last year, but he most likely will not return to the NFL in 2011.
