She's busy with ABC's "The Middle," so Bay Village native Patricia Heaton won' spend this Christmas in Cleveland. She shares special holiday times from her Bay Village childhood.  

Several rookie shows with Northeast Ohio connections received nominations for People's Choice awards. They include NBC's "Community," CBS' "Three Rivers" and ABC's "The Middle," "Modern Family" and "FlashForward."  

I caught up with a new fall sit-com last week called The Middle, starring Patricia Heaton of Everybody Loves Raymond fame. The show has nothing specifically to do with special needs, but a scene in the most recent episode made me laugh with recognition.
