Patrick Dempsey is an Irish/American actor who first gained Hollywood fame in the late 1980s. He’s most known for his role as neurosurgeon Dr. Derek Shepherd on the medical drama Grey's Anatomy.
Patrick Dempsey: Need for Speed
Grey’s Anatomy star Patrick Dempsey met with fans before racing his Ferrari F430 GT in his first 24 hour race at Le Mans Circuit today. This is his first time racing at Le Mans since beginning his racing career a few years ago.
“It’s been overwhelming,” Dempsey said. “The response at tech was quite special. I was just blown away by the energy of the people. The depth of the photos and history with the fans is remarkable. They are well-prepared.”
McDreamy had a bit of an accident when Dempsey cut the inside of the corner causing everyone to break. The actor is racing in order to collect 50,000 euros for children born with heart defects.
