Patrick Quinn (born December 16, 1948) is a Democratic politician who became the 41st governor of Illinois following the successful impeachment of former governor Rod Blagojevich.
Personal PAC, a political action committee that backs abortion rights, endorsed Gov. Pat Quinn for the Democratic nomination for governor and made Republican governor candidate Bob Schillerstrom its lone GOP choice for statewide office.

Quinn is hosting a holiday open house today at the Executive Mansion in Springfield.
The event is free. It runs from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. Quinn likes to throw open the doors of the historic governor's mansion.
