Paul Potts is our new Cinderella. What’s amazing about his story isn’t the fact that he nailed Puccini’s Nessun Dorma on Britain’s Got Talent in front of Simon Cowell and many others; what’s amazing is his reaction afterwards. One day last week I was at the gym doing my 45 minutes on the elliptical and, yes, I was watching Oprah. Before last week, I had never heard of Paul Potts. His story amazed and stunned me. I saw so much of myself in him, and you may, too. Potts, who years ago was... Read Full Story
"Britain's Got Talent" winner Paul Potts has finally quit his job selling mobile phones. That's nine months after winning the show. He was on extended leave as he toured the world performing to thousands, but was too scared to resign in case it had all been a dream. Dude, if it was a dream would it have had Simon Cowell in it? This is one of my favorite Youtube videos of all time. Watch the looks on the judges faces as he comes to the stage…and watch what happens when he opens his mouth. The judges go so quickly from mild disgust to absolute amazement. This guy is pretty inspiring.
