Paula Abdul to Join 'So You Think You Can Dance'?

Paula Abdul may have been booted off American Idol, but that doesn't mean her reality TV career is over. On the contrary, it seems networks are clamoring to employ the beloved judge (and occasional hot mess), seeing as Paula said recently, "At this point, there are so many wonderful things that are being offered to me, and I got to take a deep breath, sleep a little ... and go through everything."

One such offer involves the American Idol of the dance world, So You Think You Can Dance. Variety magazine reports Abdul is already in talks with the show's judge Nigel Lythgoe (the Simon Cowell of SYTYCD), who said "there’s no question" that he wants Paula on the show. He continued:
I don’t know anybody that’s had her experience of being a dancer, of being a choreographer and of being a judge. If Paula does join the SYTYCD panel, it probably won't be as a permanent fourth judge -- Lythgoe envisions her role as part of the show’s third-judge rotation, so her presence would only be occasional. Paula, however, hasn't publicly committed to any opportunity, so she may be holding out for something better.
