Has Paula Abdul Rekindled with Arsenio Hall?

It's been 20 years since Paula Abdul and comedian Arsenio Hall were an item, but rumor has it history is repeating itself. ContactMusic.com reports that the once-couple is giving their relationship another try.

Paula and Arsenio first met on the set of the Eddie Murphy flick Coming to America in 1888, an they dated for a little while after. Paula has been single ever since she broke it off with her restaurant owner boyfriend last year, and after she said goodbye to her American Idol post, Arsenio took the opportunity to console her.

A source said, "Arsenio reached out to Paula because he thought she needed a friend to talk to, someone she could relate to. Arsenio knows what it's like to leave a hit TV show. One phone call led to another, and the next thing you know, they were making a date. This could be the perfect situation for the two of them. Paula and Arsenio know each other inside and out."
