My husband and I secretly vowed to each other 20 years ago that we would be with each other for sickness and in health, richer or poorer, etc. To me that means standing with the one that I made this commitment to. If one is down, the other is to encourage and lift the other one up. I do not understand how anyone could speak or teach the philosophy of the home being a Christian foundation and not living it. I guess this is where we as Christians will see our brother or sister not represent the image that should be portrayed. We need to live our lives as Christ would have us live. We need to keep our brothers and sisters in prayer but not let this effect us. We need to keep Christ as head of our home so our foundation will not crumble.

When one stands in God's place and speaks in his name, when they mess up others will say thats why I dont go to church or believe in God etc. I am glad for the great charismatic movement of today, it's great to see so many coming into a joyous service of God, but at the same time ministries are losing focus and falling leaving reason for others to blaspheme God. The divorce isn't done yet, hopefully they turn it around.

A lot of marrieges were not ordained by God, but paula say's it is better to get married then to burn. In properity stands ( health, wealth, e.tc.) how could you stop preaching something that the almighyty God as created. The Jews are blessed so shall we be becuase we are under the new covenant by Jesus Christ. If you don't wanna propser, stay were you r I'll receive everything.. The main point is to put Jesus first in everything you do and receiv the blessing of the Lord. Shower me Jesus I do not beleive in Lack neither should you (THE EARTH IS THE LORD AND THE FULLNEST THEREOF, BE BLESS AND HAVE NO REGRETS. FIRST CAST THE STONE IN YOUR LIFE.

" This is a really old comment and I hope the OP will see this response .. If you're looking for someone to be equally yoked with forever, then find someone who believes that divorce is wrong except for infidelity .. Then, and only then, will you have a good chance of remaining married. Every marriage will experience some rough spots but if you believe divorce is wrong you will hang in there. Jesus asked his disciples if they too would turn away but they responded that HE alone had the words of eternal life. Following GOD is basically being willing to follow HIS word whatever the cost. GOD did not call us to personal happiness but to denying oneself's for the sake of the Gospel.

as a christian and married for 16 years there were ruff time. but with Gods help we are still together and growing stronger in God and the loveSo pa each other.So I know the word divorce should not be in a christian vocabulary and especially a leader of the church.
