Pete Doherty to appear in court accused of letting manager drive his car without insurance

Babyshambles star Pete Doherty is to appear in court once again as he is accused of letting his manager drive his car without insurance.

The 30-year-old star allegedly lent his manager, Andy Boyd, his Jaguar XJ6 in September last year.

The car allegedly hit the pedestrian Chris Corder, 42, in Suffolk and left him fighting for his life.

Since the crash, Corder has been in a coma with serious brain injuries.

Doherty has now been summonsed to court.
