LG Pete Kendall is not a happy camper at Eric Mangini’s training camp. Despite demanding to be traded or released months ago, Kendall was in attendance for the first day of Jets training camp. The Washington Post is reporting that the next thing on the Redskins list - sign Pete Kendall: Although the Redskins brought back guard Derrick Dockery to be the their starting left guard, the team still is interested in re-signing former starting left guard Pete Kendall, Coach Jim Zorn said today. “He’s my next phone call,” Zorn said after introducing Dockery and cornerback DeAngelo Hall, who re-signed with the team, at today’s Redskins Park news conference. Today’s Washington Post caught up with Jim Zorn, and he rightly pointed out that the team needs to make sure they bring back two upcoming free agents - DeAngelo Hall and Pete Kendall: Jim Zorn said he is hopeful that the Redskins will re-sign two of their players who are eligible for unrestricted free agency, cornerback DeAngelo Hall and guard Pete Kendall.
