Phil Dawson celebrates a roller coaster, 33-30 Browns OT victory. He RocksIt wasn't pretty, but I just witnessed the most satisfying victory since the Cleveland Browns returned to the NFL. Against the low-down, dirty, underhanded, purple wearing, franchise stealing, soulless Baltimore Ravens. That game you just lost, Ravens fans, that pain you feel (you know, leaving your seats once victoriously only to return and watch the Browns methodically march down the field for the game winning field goal), it reminds my of something that happened to the Browns in the mid-90's. If the Browns have 100,000 straight victories over the Ravens in similar fashion, then we'll be even.
Phil Dawson is The Man. Been with the Browns since they came back, and sadly enough he was their best player in numerous of their recent seasons. The Phil Dawson burger at McDonald's is 4 cheeseburger patties (because Phil is #4) on a bun. How many Phil Dawson burgers are too many this week?
Are you kidding me? Field goal (from 51 yards out!!!) is called no good, but it went through the uprights (after hitting the left one on the way through) and then bounced back out on to the field? And then the refs GET THE CALL RIGHT!!!! Win coin toss, OT, Josh Cribbs, Pro-Bowler. Aloha!!! Winslow on third and ten with an 18 yard catch on a laser from DA. Phil Dawson strikes again.
