Philadelphia Eagles coach Andy Reid's 24-year-old son, Britt Reid, has graduated from a drug court program.
Reid enrolled in the program early last year after a series of run-ins with the law.
He was arrested in January 2007 in West Conshohocken on drug and weapons charges after he flashed a gun at another driver in a road-rage incident. His older brother, Garrett, is serving a prison sentence related to drug addiction.
Britt Reid completed a 15-month treatment program at the... Read Full Story

Believe it or not, NFL conference finals are here, and there's no way anyone could've predicted the four teams battling for a Super Bowl appearance. Somehow two No. 6 seeds and a rookie quarterback inched their way through and only one team with at least 12 regular season wins made it this far, proving that, as usual, NFL playoffs are unpredictable. Here's a rundown of this weekend's matchups: Baltimore Ravens (11-5) vs. Pittsburgh Steelers (12-4) Rookie quarterback Joe Flacco looks to lead... Read Full Story
The Philadelphia Eagles lost 41-37 to the Cowboys Monday night, and although they can't pin their loss on one stupid play, a play will live on in history as one of the single stupidest mistakes in NFL history. During the second quarter, Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb launched a pass downfield to receiver DeSean Jackson. The NFL playoffs started yesterday with the San Diego Chargers beating the Indianapolis Colts and the Arizona Cardinals triumphing over the Atlanta Falcons for their first playoff victory in nearly 100 years (or so at least it seems). On the boob-tube today you'll find the Philadelphia Eagles at Minnesota taking on the Vikings at 4:30. We don't normally stray away from baseball on here, unless you count Corey's dip into WNBA blogging and the occasional Penn State or that other type of... Read Full Story

Usain Bolt said he had no intentions of playing professional football in the United States, and apparently he has no intention of testing his speed against the NFL's best either.
