Jeff Carter's goal with 3:07 to play in the second period broke a 1-1 tie and the Flyers held on for a 2-1 victory over the Islanders. The win is the Flyers' 13th straight over the Islanders, which is the longest active streak for one team against another in the NHL.  On to the trick:  1.  The Flyers grabbed an early lead when Danny Briere scored less than two minutes into play.  It was Briere's 13th goal of the season and his 11th goal in 27...
