Pathway School's Tee Off With Zumoff Golf Tournament

Welcome to The Pathway School’s“Tee Off with Zumoff” Celebrity Golf Outing.
Tuesday, September 23, 2008
RiverCrest Golf Club & Preserve.
Hosted by Marc Zumoff, Philadelphia native and current Philadelphia 76ers play-by-play Voice.
The Pathway School has held eleven consecutive golf outings under its name since 1997, but decided to rename the outing after Marc Zumoff, Philadelphia native and current play-by-play voice for the Philadelphia 76ers, in 2004. The next outing scheduled for 2008 will mark the fifth year that Zumoff has hosted the event for the school, although having served as the event auctioneer for seven years prior.
The golf outing has been held at a variety of courses throughout the years: Plymouth Country Club; Talamore Country Club; Blue Bell Country Club; Lu Lu Country Club; and now RiverCrest Golf Club & Reserve in 2008.
Revenue generated by the annual “Tee Off with Zumoff” Celebrity Golf Outing in the form of golfer and dinner registrations, sponsorships, and silent and live auction bids provide critical dollars for the school and help to bridge the gap between tuition and the actual cost of student education. Tax deductible contributions support the students, programs, and school facilities by allowing Pathway maximum flexibility to apply funds where they are needed most. “Tee Off with Zumoff” has managed to raise an annual excess of $30,000 (net) for the school over the past two years, and is seeking to raise more than $50,000 in the very near future. The event draws more than 100 Delaware Valley businesspersons, friends of the school, and TV, radio and sports celebrities. A wonderful day of golf is followed by a silent/live auction and dinner reception, which tend to produce a majority of the event’s revenue coupled with sponsorships by local businesses. If you are interested in assisting Pathway in shaping the future of nearly 165 special needs students, please contact Nicole Jones, Director of Communications & Development at 610-277-0660, ext. 206 or via e-mail at NicoleJ@PathwaySchool.org.
