Just finished up out at the Phish Saratoga Performing Arts Center parking lot. The blow-out was shut down before we could do anything. So we headed over to Lee's Park for camping and after concert partying. It is a very chill scene with lots of merchandise vendors and a few food vendors. They are all still getting here from the venue over at SPAC. The message boards are exploding with activity this morning after Phish’s show in Albany last night. The band busted out a few rarer songs and brought a second set that started with “My Friend, My Friend” and “Golden Age” by TV on the Radio . Plus they played one of my favorite songs by the band that I thought I’d never see them play — “Tomorrow’s Song” off the Undermind release — and it gives me hope that we’ll continue to see the band reach into the stuff they’ve already done very well. Phish will once again spend another summer on the road, as the veteran jam band has announced the initial 18 dates for its 2011 tour on their website today (Feb. 22).   The trek includes an opening three-night run on Memorial Day weekend at the Bethel Woods Centers for the Arts in Bethel, N.Y. on May 27-29.
