I think it's rather odd.

When I was little, my dad used to pack us kids into the old green station wagon (a vehicle which often chased me in my nightmares) and we'd head to Redwood Falls , Minnesota for a drive through Alexander Ramsey Park. I've always wanted to visit Ireland, and yet, I haven't got a single ounce of Irish blood in my body. I wish I did. I think it's due to books by wonderful Irish authors like Frank McCourt that feeds my imagination. My favorite book as a young woman, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn , by Betty Smith, also inspired me.
