Tamron Japan has announced the upcoming launch of its SP AF17-50mm F/2.8 XR Di II1 VC LD Aspherical [IF] lens for Canon EF mount cameras. Announced for both Nikon and Canon digital SLRs at the start of September, the SP AF17-50mm f/2.8 began shipping for Nikon cameras with built-in AF motors around a month ago.
