Pictures of Baby Nurseries

Here are a few pictures of baby nurseries, to get your creativity flowing.


OK, the light fixture needs to go, but the butterflies are cool.  In this picture of a baby nursery, the butterfles are set in a lighter shade of green.  The same technique could be used in just about any color (blues, reds, etc).


There are lots of pink and green baby nurseries out there.  This one has some nice touches, including the deep pink band around the wall at waist level, and a matching rug.  The small pink lamp looks nice, but isn't very practical.  A taller lamp that can be turned on and off without having to bend over while carrying a baby would be a better choice.  Even better would be a lamp that has multiple settings so that you can have dim light for bed time.


Pictures of baby nurseries sometimes exclude the changing area - not this one.  These tall shelves could be handy for storing spare diapers, wipes, and toys for distracting fussy babies.  Square baskets can help organize things and avoid a "cluttered" feel.


Wall murals can jazz up baby nurseries.  Here's a simple one - you don't have to be Picasso to create a buzzing bee - and kids love bees.


Here's another example of wall murals for a baby nursery, but this time at the baby's eye level.  Keep in mind that your child is going to be crawling around on the floor! 


Hanging flags, like the ones in this picture, can be a fun way to decorate baby nurseries.  Note that the fireplace itself, especially with the brick floor, can be hazardous for pre-toddlers who are trying to learn how to stand and walk.  If you have this type of floor, consider purchasing a rug. Heads bonk.  Better to bonk on a rug.


You don't see many pictures of black baby nurseries, but this one sorta works.  The waving crab is cool.
