Piper Cuter Than Bush?: PopSense Election Coverage 9/4

Sarah Palin shook things up at last night's Republican National Convention, demanding cheers from Conservatives and refueling arguments from Liberals. Here at PopSense we have more important issues to deal with. We don't vote along party lines, we don't fall for all the rhetoric or the partisan politics from either side, no no, we are far above things like policies and discussions of war, economy, and experience. For us, it's all about a little something we like to call the 'cute factor.'

We had high hopes 8 years ago when the tricky talkin' Texan known as "W" stepped into the big house. It's hard to see it now after a troubled presidency, but just try looking beyond your rationale for a moment and remember how adorable he really is. That accent, the mispronunciation of words, the little laugh, those deep southern eyes! Unfortunately, people seem to view our international image in terms other than such cuteness.

However, there remains a beacon of light for the Republican party and for this country. Her name is Piper Palin and she is a classy little lady. Just watch in the above video as she gracefully straightens her baby brother's hair with the ever-personal lubricant of her own saliva. We'll keep our eye open for more Piper cuteness and bring it to you the second it is filmed and hopefully put into slow motion.
