A Boeing 777 jet operated by Asiana Airlines crashed upon landing at San Francisco International Airport about 11:30am Saturday.
According to witnesses, the plane was about to land, the landing gear had come down, when the tail of the plane came off. Later reports indicate that the plane came in too low and when the pilot attempted to correct this, the tail clipped the seawall and snapped.
