i have a samsung 50″ plasma HD TV. on some pictures, the color black is too black – it becomes a solid color – very noticable if the scene is dark – eg night. any suggestions? Best Answer: You must have a TV with a high contrast ratio and you were accustomed to a TV which did not have a high contrast ratio. What settings (contracts, brightness etc) do people recommend for breaking in a new plasma? (ie the first 200 hours or whatever) Best Answer: You don’t have to turn everything way down like some people make it sound! All i did was set the TV to the darkest picture mode that it had(i believe it’s CINEMA or something like that)!
