Peter Moore has good reason to blow his own trumpet...or rather his trombone. Last night the 12-year-old became the youngest ever winner of the BBC Young Musician of the Year award.Peter, pictured, who started playing the trombone when he was six, impressed judges in the final with a repertoire that included Tomasi's Trombone Concerto.Afterwards he said: "It's not sunk in at all. So I play trombone, and yeah I love it There is something about playing trombone that distinguishes you from all of the other instrument players out there. I think it is because it is the only instrument of its kinda and is so unique. The trombone is the only instrument that you play with a slide.
