The seven ski areas of the Pocono Mountains are offering special values as they launch into an extended 2008 winter season following late February snowfall and continued freezing temperatures.

Guests to the four-county region can take advantage of end-of-season deals, including half-price skiing, free lift tickets, snow tubing passes and more. Additionally, snow-lovers can still take advantage of this season’s “Learn to Turn” program, in which midweek visitors receive three consecutive days of lift passes to any of the seven local ski areas, rental equipment and three group lessons when they book three nights accommodations at participating properties.*

Skiers and snowboarders have another way to save this season by going to www.visitpa.com to print a coupon for $10 off, good at any participating ski area in Pennsylvania, including all seven ski areas in the Pocono Mountains.

Alpine Mountain Ski & Ride Center, Analomink

At Alpine Mountain, visitors can ski and ride for free with purchase of a 2008-09 Season Pass at the best price available. Discounted Adult Passes are $329 each, Junior / Senior Passes are $229 each and Student Passes are $189 each. Discounted season passes are available through August 31, 2008.



Blue Mountain Ski Area, Palmerton

Skiers who purchase a lift ticket now will receive a Spring Fling Coupon, which can be redeemed starting March 10 for half-price skiing or riding.



Camelback Mountain Resort, Tannersville

Guests receive discounted lift tickets starting March 9 of $41 midweek / $45 weekend. Starting March 16, visitors can take advantage of the Daylight Savings Lift Ticket Spectacular by skiing or riding from 3 p.m. – 7 p.m. for just $9.99. The March Madness Pass allows for unlimited skiing for the rest of the 2007-08 season for $99 and can be credited toward the purchase of an 2008-09 Unlimited Season Pass.



Jack Frost, Blakeslee / Big Boulder, Lake Harmony


Guests who purchase a 2008-09 season pass will save up to $150 and will be able to ski or ride the rest of the 2007-08 season. In addition, if purchased by June 2, 2008 they will receive a choice of four free snow passes or four free snow tubing passes or if purchased after June 2, they will receive a choice of two free snow passes or two free snow tubing passes.



Shawnee Mountain, Shawnee on Delaware


March Miser Tickets allow guests to purchase three lift tickets for $79 or three lift tickets with ski or snowboard rentals for $125. March Miser Tickets and rentals are transferable among family members and may be used any day including weekends this March through the end of the 2007-08 season and into early next season through Dec. 24, 2008. Available for sale through Shawnee Mountain’s online store only through the end of 2007-08 season. Late Season Coupons are now available on Shawnee Mountain’s website for $10 off Adult Daily Lift Tickets and $5 off Youth/Student Daily Lift Tickets. Coupon valid through the end of 2007-08 ski season.



Ski Big Bear at Masthope Mountain, Lackawaxen

Unlimited Season Passes for the 2008-09 season will be on sale March 8, 2008 and when purchased during the month of March, are valid the rest of the 2007-08 season.



*Learn to Turn participants must be at least eight years of age to participate in group lessons.
