Re-elect Hank Johnson to Congress patriotic campaign button
Compared to many other members of Congress, Georgia Democrat Hank Johnson doesn’t get a lot of attention. That’s too bad, because Hank Johnson is one of the best faces the Democratic Party has in the House of Representatives, earning the nickname The Even-Handed Progressive.
Congressman Johnson may be from Georgia, but he’s a solid progressive, earning a 75 percent rating from the Progressive Patriots legislative scorecard. He’s voted against dangerous bills like the Big Brother bill to establish government spying against Americans, ironically entitled the Protect America Act. Representative Johnson stands for straightforward, common-sense support for Head Start preschool programs, and efforts to abolish the use of child soldiers.
Hank Johnson recently worked with both Democrats and Republicans to put together a resolution urging renewed diplomatic efforts for dealing with the terrorist Lord’s Resistance Army in Uganda. The resolution passed unanimously. That’s just one example of the way that Johnson is able to stand up for his ideals without causing resentment amongst his colleagues.
Help re-elect Hank Johnson to Congress. Wear this campaign button proudly.
