Poll of the Day: What Was the Biggest 2012 Oscar Snub?

The nominees for the 2012 Academy Awards were announced earlier this week, and while many stars were left basking in their own greatness, others were left crying (okay, maybe just sulking and yelling at their publicists) from the sidelines. Question is: What was the biggest Oscar snub this year?

The majority of Zimbio readers don't believe RiRi tattooed "Thug Life" onto her fists. (via Rihanna's Lockerz account)
But first, yesterday's poll: We asked if you actually believed Rihanna had the nerve to tattoo "Thug Life" onto her fists, and 53 percent of you said "no." And yet, as the pop star continues tweeting about the ink job, we're beginning to believe her.

But back to a crop of Hollywood stars who in the eyes of the Academy were clearly not good enough at their jobs this year.

First is Leonardo DiCaprio, who has received three Oscar nods in the past, but couldn't squeeze in a fourth this time around. Next up are Charlize Theron and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. Both are fantastically gorgeous. One can act, the other can put up with Michael Bay. Yet neither received nominations this year. Lastly there's Ryan Gosling, whose snub left Russell Crowe calling out "bulls---t" via Twitter. But whose snub is most egregious? You make the call.
