No Objections to DeGeneres de Rossi Wedding
I thought I should probably say something about Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi, getting hitched over the weekend. But, I didn't know what more to say.
I think it is absolutely great—and they looked wonderful and happy. And I join with millions of others in giving my congratulations to America's Sweetheart and her extraordinarily hot bride.
However, I couldn't figure out what to really say, that has not been repeated ad nauseum....
De Rossi, wore a backless, light pink dress, and DeGeneres, wore pants, a button-up shirt and vest — all in white— a casual femme tux, in keeping with Ellen's soft soft butch style. Both outfits were designed by Zac Posen. There were 19 guests. It was at Ellen's home—too bad they did not do Palm Springs, as originally reported. It would have been fitting, in a lesbianish way. But I suppose they wanted to keep it low key and private.
Anyway, I started to look around for some angle on the story to report---and so I cruised through the news reports and the blogophere.
And I could not find any negative, nasty comments—except Tila Tequlia was pouting that she had not been invited---an annoying, pretend bisexual, publicity whore—just what every girl wants at her wedding.
But there seem to be no objections.
That is the biggest story of all.
In fact, it is astonishing.
Even earth shattering.
