I will quit if I lose – Masauli While MCP/UDF work on Cabinet Posts

Republican Party (RP) president Stanley Masauli says he will retire from politics and try something else if he loses in the forthcoming general elections.

Masauli said he would take his defeat during the polls to mean Malawians love poverty and that the people do not want to be rescued from hunger and starvation.

“I ask Malawians to take a minute and read our manifesto, they will truly realize that they are just wasting time with the other parties whose real identity is failure,” said Masauli.

He added: “If Malawians don’t vote me for president, it will be a sign that Malawians are impossible and that they love poverty because if you read our manifesto, we are the best.”
Masauli, who said has been in politics for 18 years and highly experienced to rule the country said he would probably continue his original job as pilot trainer and examiner.
