I think when some people make the choice to go into property investment I think what happens is that they are overloaded with information, and frankly they don't know which way to go. So what happens at the end of it is an emotional trip whereby they become certain that if they do not do something now that they will not take action and all their efforts will be wasted.

Boring Brussels Provides Excitement

Think of Brussels and I think of boring bland buildings and even more boring beauracrats pushing pens and making up silly rules for the European Union. When it comes to international real estate I wonder who is going to really buy a place in Brussels when you have so many other exciting destinations to choose from. Maybe ex prime minster John Major ( more peas Norma) or Steve Davis the most boring snooker player other such grey characters.

Well it seems that we have it all wrong Brussels is ticking all the boxes for overseas property investments

Real estate agents have noted that since the EU expanded to include many of the former Soviet bloc countries, the demand for housing has gone up considerably. As most of these diplomats and workers want to be near the EU facilities, this part of the city has seen the most demand for new housing.

Brussels provides a huge work force who want to rent property.
In addition to the EU workers, there are a number of employees for international firms as well as NATO who want housing in this part of the city. The location near the airport is an added plus, as is the access to public transportation, including international rail lines. For many expats living in Brussels, taking the train home is as quick as flying.

Prices are still low
One of the reasons for the popularity of the city overall, and not just the European Quarter, is the low prices compared to many other major European capitals. For many, the favorable tax laws and low prices make it an ideal place to retire to.
