The Men's Soccer Team's season came to a close this past Friday when the Friars were eliminated in the semi-finals of the Big East Championship by the Red Storm of St. John's, 2-0. The Friars ended their season 10-7-3, and will now have to look towards next year.

One bounce. It was all Providence needed to defeat the men's soccer team this past Saturday night in the quarterfinals of the Big East tournament. The Huskies had previously beaten the Friars 4-0 earlier in the season, but the Friars didn't come close to resembling that team.

Jamine "Greedy" Peterson '11 had not worn a basketball jersey in an actual game since the Friars' Big East Tournament loss to West Virginia, 58-53, back in March 2008. He had played in 25 games as a true freshman in the 2007-08 season and knew he would have an influential future for Providence College Men's Basketball.
