I came across this short story, attributed to Isaac Asimov, quite by accident. The story tells of man’s search to “reverse entropy” and thereby prevent the inevitable destruction of all existence as we know it. It is a quite spectacular, especially given it’s simplicity, story that delves into science, philosophy, and ultimately religion. One of the most intriguing questions implicitly asked by this story concerns the nature of God.
