Puppy Bowl 2010 will give those who aren't at all interested in football a little something to look forward to this Super Bowl Sunday. The Puppy Bowl will air at 3pm today, and will feature dogs playing on the field in their own Super Bowl, of sorts.

Even though the pups can't exactly throw or any of that, they'll certainly be running around the field after a ball. There's even refs. "I make sure it's a clean game," says Andrew Schechter (via
Cleveland.com, who is both a referee and production coordinator for the show. "You know, like illegal use of paws."
The annual event, which this year features 43 pups, was watched by 1.2 million people last year, and producers are hoping it's another big year for the dogs. And, for an added bonus, other furry friends will make their way onto the field. There's a kitten halftime show, bunny "cheerleaders" and hamsters flying in a miniature blimp. Not to be missed.
