The Pussycat Dolls are an award-winning and Grammy Award-nominated American all-female music group. The Dolls began as a burlesque dance troupe based in Los Angeles, and expanded to Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. The group, which was founded by choreographer Robin Antin in 1995, released its first single in 2004. The group is one of the most commercially successful new acts to appear in 2005, and has gone on to sell over 5 million records worldwide.
Despite all the rumors claiming the Pussycat Dolls are splitting up, choreographer and group founder Robin Antin says they're actually recruiting new members to join leader Nicole Scherzinger. We’re not sure how true this rumor is, but according to sources, The Pussycat Dolls have split up for good.
They reportedly decided to take a break from recording earlier this year when they were hounded by rumors of fighting amongst themselves along with jealousy over Nicole Scherzinger’s role in the group.

This has reduced hopes of the group ever reuniting. Despite claims from their label, Interscope, that the girls are merely “on a break,” a source said, “It is war. They have broken up for good. None of the other girls are speaking to Nicole, who they believe took the limelight, then went off to do her own thing.”
Kimberly Wyatt recently revealed she hadn’t heard from Sherzinger, who’s now working on a solo career, in months. Interscope didn’t get back to us.
