The Pussycat Dolls are an award-winning and Grammy Award-nominated American all-female music group. The Dolls began as a burlesque dance troupe based in Los Angeles, and expanded to Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. The group, which was founded by choreographer Robin Antin in 1995, released its first single in 2004. The group is one of the most commercially successful new acts to appear in 2005, and has gone on to sell over 5 million records worldwide.

Pussycat Dolls creator Robin Antin has confirmed she is rebuilding the girl group around singer Nicole Scherzinger after a year of turmoil and public bickering. Reports have suggested the group is splitting up, but Antin maintains the Dolls will be back in 2010 – stronger than ever.
