Geek Games - Rubik’s Cube 360 Puzzle

Professor Erno Rubik, inventor of the Rubik’s Cube puzzle has come out with his latest brain teaser puzzle known as Rubik’s Cube 360. The new puzzle hopes to build on the success of the original cube which became one of the best selling toys over the last 30 years.

Cube 360 features six balls trapped within three plastic spheres. The objective of the game is to move the balls from the inner chamber to the matching spots in the outer chamber through two holes in the middle sphere.

The new puzzle will be officially unveiled at an international toy fair being held in Germany on February 5 but some puzzle solvers were given an advanced preview. A wide variety of comments regarding the cube were received including “Our community is very interested in the upcoming release of Rubik 360″ and “It looks like more of a physical game that requires dexterity whereas the Cube is something to ponder but there’s no reason it can’t catch on.”
