Over the weekend Q u e e n L a t i f a h shot a music video for her single, “Fast Car” featuring Missy Elliott. The shoot took place at the Wall Township Speedway in New Jersey and features cameos from Common, Robin Thicke, and actress Paula Patton. I’m not sold on this song for her .

Rapper-actress Queen Latifah says she will remember the late U.S. singer Michael Jackson for influencing her and her brother when they were young.
The actress, whose voice is featured in the animated movie said she remembers how influential Jackson was to her when she first heard his Jackson 5 song the Los Angeles Times reported Sunday.

Queen Latifah’s birthday party was Saturday (3/28) but the celebration was short lived. The “raptress” has been smacked with a $1 million lawsuit stating she failed to pay makeup and fashion consultants for work in July 2005 and February 2008.
Celebrity cosmetologist Roxanna Floyd claims the Beauty Shop star owes her $700,000 while in a seperate lawsuit, fashion stylist Susan Moses says she’s owed $300,000.

Actress Queen Latifah is being sued by her former make-up artist and fashion stylist claiming that the actress failed to pay for them for their services.
Celebrity cosmetology consultant Roxanna Floyd claimed that Latifah owed her $700,000 for the work she did between 2005 and 2008.
On a separate case, stylist Susan Moses said the actress failed to pay her $300,000 for her services.
A spokeswoman for Latifah said that the lawsuits filed against the actress had no merit.
