KNOWING QUEER CULTURE NOW

By stevenmichael on  From iamstevenmichael.com
We’ve seen pop culture, gay and otherwise, go through many changes over the years. Remember America Online?! Of course you do! AOL, it was better known as, started it all. Getting in those chat rooms was nearly impossible! I would keep my stapler sitting on top of the enter key in hopes I would be able to get in one of the many M4M rooms they had running. Her example of...Read Full Story

GenderBloc members contacted administrators to see what their current policies and resources were for trans students, and worked with them to form policies where there were none. Some of the topics can be generalized to most schools, and the guide can serve as a template for other places to...Read Full Story

The Grammys are coming up on Sunday, and though America’s most prestigious music honors will see gay faves (Adele, Lady Gaga, Pink), bisexuals (Nicki Minaj) and even those who brag about kissing a girl (Katy Perry) vie for awards, it’s probably the least gay of the EGOT  (Emmy, Tony, Oscar, Grammy) series. So here I’m going [...]
