THE FOLLOWING IS A GUIDING SYNOSIS TAKEN FROM THE COMMUNIVERSITY PROPER:
With strick attention to developing our student’s basic education skills in the context of the highest standards of academic excellence, suitable for one to confidently sit for high stake exams(ie. SAT/ACT and MCATs, LSATs), we simutaneously advance the psycho-emotional healing and spiritual upliftment of our people by providing KNOWLEDGE, WISDOM AND OVERSTANDING of the historo-cultural, socio-political and psycho-educational experiences of Africans in America in away that RADICALLY REAPPRAISES EDUCATION from the pained and angry perspective of the oppressed black community.

WHY WE NEED TO DO THIS:
With the present day high rates of Black on Black homicide, suicide, and imprisonment and a rise in single-parent homes, rampant police brutality, unprecedented unemployment, and Blacks use of popular (ENEMY) culture (through music, video games and popular movies) to celebrate "anti-intellectualism, ignorance, irresponsible parenthood, drunkenness, dope dealing, weed smoking, cocaine, x-pills, loose sexual behavior and criminal lifestyles / thuggism"; we have chose to design a curriculum that, rather than getting caught up in the entertainment / BLACKPLOTATION aspects of hip hop/rap, will use hip hop/rap within a historo-cultural, socio-political and psycho-educational framework to address these various death walks forthrightly. Our new methodological style is intended to get our young people to begin to think critically about themselves, their world and their role as people of Afrikan descent.

WHERE WE ARE AND WHERE WE WANNA GO:
This work is a comprehensive (but only a core framework) sequenced survey of subjects and topics that have confronted Afrikans in America throughout our 246 years of chattel slavery, 100 years of aparthied and only “one generation of freedom” here in America. I like to describe the school as a “cultural development and leadership training communiversity”. From our research, we have determined that the idea of Sankofa, which means "We must go back and reclaim our past so we can move forward; so we understand why and how we came to be who we are today", really encompasses the whole Afrikan-centered ideal. Nonetheless, as this is a work in evolution and always under construction, we have chosen to focus our teaching/learning journey most directly on the past 45 years of our struggle for human and civil rights—

THE THEME “THE MORE THINGS CHANGE, THE MORE THINGS STAY THE SAME, WE NEED A REVOLUTION, THE SYSTEM AIN’T GONA CHANGE UNLESS WE MAKE IT CHANGE”.

The content and character of the curriculum is Afrikan-centered and the goal is academic excellence in persuit of black power. We tease out the social, political, economic and moral imparatives of black power in the 21st century by zooming in on two povital questions throughout our course of study:

“WHAT IS BLACK OPPRESSION IN AMERICA AND WHAT IS AFRIKAN LIBERATION.”

THEY ARE STILL OUR SLAVES
Why: IGNORANCE, GREED, and SELFISHNESS.

"THEY ARE STILL OUR SLAVES"

We can continue to reap profits from the Blacks without the effort of physical slavery. Look at the current methods of containment that they use on themselves: IGNORANCE, GREED, and SELFISHNESS.

Their IGNORANCE is the primary weapon of containment. A great man once said, "The best way to hide something from Black people is to put it in a book.

GREED is another powerful weapon of containment. Blacks, since the abolition of slavery, have had large amounts of money at their disposal. Last year they spent 10 billion dollars during Christmas, out of their 450 billion dollars in total yearly income (2.22%).

Any of us can use them as our target market, for any
business venture we care to dream up, no matter how outlandish, they will buy into it. Being primarily a consumer people, they function totally by greed. They
continually want more, with little thought for saving
or investing.

They would rather buy some new sneakers than invest
in starting a business. Some even neglect their children to have the latest Tommy or FUBU, and they still think that having a Mercedes, and a big house gives them "Status" or
that they have achieved their Dream. They are fools! The vast majority of their people are still in poverty because their greed holds them back from collectively making better communities.
With the help of BET, and the rest of their black media that often broadcasts destructive images into their own homes, we will continue to see huge profits like those of Tommy and Nike. (Tommy Hilfiger has even jeered them, saying he doesn't want their money, and look at how the fools spend more with him than ever before!). They'll continue to show off to each other while we build solid communities with the profits from our businesses that we market to them.

SELFISHNESS, ingrained in their minds through slavery, is one of the major ways we can continue to contain them. One of their own, Dubois said that there was an innate division in their culture. "Talented Tenth" he called it. He was correct in his deduction that there are segments of their culture that has achieved some "form" of success. However, that segment missed the fullness of his work. They didn't read that the "Talented Tenth" was then responsible to aid The Non-Talented Ninety Percent in achieving a better life.

Instead, that segment has created another class, Buppie class that looks down on their people or aids them in a condescending manner. They will never achieve what we have. Their selfishness does not allow them to be able to work together on any project or endeavor of substance.

When they do get together, their selfishness lets their egos get in the way of their goal. Their so-called help organizations seem to only want to promote their name without making any real change in their community.

They are content to sit in conferences and conventions in our hotels, and talk about what they will do, while they award plaques to the best speakers, not to the best doers. Is there no end to their selfishness? They steadfastly refuse to see that TOGETHER EACH ACHIEVES MORE (TEAM)

They do not understand that they are no better than each other because of what they own , as a matter of fact, most of those Buppies are but one or two pay checks away from poverty. All of which is under the control of our pens in our offices and our rooms.

Yes, we will continue to contain them as long as they
refuse to read, continue to buy anything they want, and keep thinking they are "helping" their communities by paying dues to organizations which do little other than hold lavish conventions in our hotels. By the way, don't worry about any of them reading this letter, remember, 'THEY DON'T READ!!!!

BLACK PEOPLE, PLEASE, READ & HEED. POIGNANT.

The sad thing about this article is that the essence of it is true. The truth hurts. I just hope this sets more Black people in motion towards making real progress. Chris Rock, a Black comedian, even joked that Blacks don't read.

Help prove them wrong! Read and pass on.

Please Note: For those of you who heard it, this is the article Dee Lee was reading this morning on a New York radio station. For those of you who didn't hear it, this is very deep. This is a heavy piece and a Caucasian wrote it. Dee Lee, CFP Harvard Financial Educators Dee Lee

Comment to fhlb10 and riknau: U both r so naive, it don't matter who wrote this article on black people being slaves. bottom line is that they are ignorant, just like u. u r possessed by their spirit - if u read the willie lynch, as shown above, with intensity - u will understand why we r in this state. even the part about "thug culture" - don't look @ crime as the easy way out for thugs. bet u all loved "2Pac", but if u think of him that way then, u obviously don't relate to him on any level. i'm a chic, a black chic, and i say thugz4life. westside til we die - Fcuk d police
I'm an south African, yes an African by birth but lost are blood draw of a white man fused to my genes , I’m not too dark but still not too white to be a white man, I come from a middle class family " my dad is med doctor and mother a school teacher" an African dream so to say and I myself have dream job "I.T" a computer engineer of which the technology is a decade behind compared to that of USA , i surely read books. With my situation exposed to you, I’m still an African leaving South African and I’m proud of my roots and origins, now I will react to the aggressive letter by opinion. I will concur with the writer to say his observation is accurate and indeed black people are greedy, ignorant and envious/spiteful, with all the opportunities presented to us yet we still are individualistic characters but we have mastered the art of sharing because there are limited resources at our disposal, but our good sharing instincts are still not of empowering other individuals but to just provide the right amount to relieve that guilty conscious but not enough for one’s independence. Our socio economic factor dictates who we are; reference to beginning of the Willie Lynch Letter “a long range economic plan” this is aimed to distract, disrespect and benefit from our displacement, from any where in this Earth natives were definitely not taken out of the jungles for economic synergies, there was an economic need and we are the solution “problem solved”!!. Our current settlements I believe you call them “ghettos” I refer again to the long range economic plan, the plan does not mention any development intentions for slaves because slaves are meant to satisfy the economic needs of the master not otherwise, our settlements are the cages build to keep us in and separated “east and west” side. Values Created and transported, they created this values to remind themselves of the effort taken in dragging the slaves from the jungles to their systems called “civilization”, we live in a system created, introduced to us for their economic benefits not otherwise. Black people have been suffering for hundreds/thousands of years and to our affirmation we are aggressive to one another only because we are slaves in a race, running a track that only the master gets to hold the trophy to proclaim his win!!! How do we claim the trophy? I think the writer is right again the war we should be fighting is” economic equality (which should have been their fight all along)”, now that we are aware of the economic plan indoctrinated to us lets put these Engine (creator of system) in higher gear to see if this fatigued bolts and Nuts (Support of system) can maintain performance still. Closure: I’ll excuse the writer because he did not mention that also some percentage of his ethnic group are also running the on our track “slave track”, this is a shame because even on this meaningless, recurring race they are still falling behind. We all Africans scattered over entire world simply because we never had gun powder to fight back the forced relocations, confusion leads to us fighting each other “slaves on the loose” dangerous and armed, it’s only inevitable that we are going to kill each other for leftovers because the Master never wrote a will. I love all people of any color and I only fear the informed.
I agree with Kuwani. I'm also from SA, but i have a discomfort when it comes to u leaving for the US. I know u have your reasons and all. The question I pose to you is, why do you want to go abroad to enhance your skillz where as you can just help other brothers learn from you. I bet, once you are there, you will not want to come back to African, the so-called Third world, dark continent as the West calls it.
Don't you realize this article is a HOAX!
Stop feeling and BEING so underated. It's time to stop feeling so sorry for ourselves, but to make a real impact in society. This might sound like the worst cliche, but actions speak louder than words. Push and unleash your full potential and there will be no need for website such as this. Godbless you all
I am a Black woman in South Africa. I read the article and feel sorry for people like Dee Lee. Yet another Caucasian that amuses him/herself by having a go at Black people. Lee is not alone, plenty of White South Africans do the same here. When the new dispensation kicked in in 1994, White South Africans fled the country fearing Black rule. Change was smoothly implememnted, no blood was shed. The very same Whites got miserable overseas and started coming back. They left cause they undermine Blacks, they thought we are incapable and incompetent, we proved them wrong. Whites fear Black ability. I am proud of being Black, for a nation that has been enslaves, colonised, abused, we have done very well. Whites will never acknowledge that. It makes them sleep deep to believe that we cannot survive without them. We can. In South Africa here we refer to Whites as "Umlungu" that means scum from the sea. That is pretty much what they still are to me. I wake up everyday, wondering what the hell is this scum doing in my country?!!!
THIS ARTICLE SHOULD NOT BE GLORIFIED! MATTHEWS MOOKETSANE BANTSIJANG
"Chattle Slavery Making A Comback" Work Camps 1 Work Camps 2
I have read the above responses and I agree with everyone of them. I will not stoop to the ignorant level of people such as Dee Lee. This article infuriated me, but at the same time I saw the truth in it. This is an attempt to keep black people down. We need to realize what a beautiful people we are. White people like Dee realize that if we as a people wake up and realize how powerful, intelligent and able we are, there is no stopping us. WE ARE SURVIVORS!!!! Don't let this article get you down, but let it be stepping stone to higher things. I LOVE ALL OF YOU MY PEOLPE!!!!
Just read something by DEE Lee, I hate it when the pink skinned make stupid comments on us blacks.Isn't their fault that we still have low self esteem, aren't they the 1ns who made us believe that without them we are nothing, we all had to fight for our freedom (blacks all over); while they were and still are makining their way to the top by using us, behind every white mans success there is a black man exploited one way or the other. If they want to make stupid comments they shud rather stick to their own kind.
This article is quite old, but the other truth of the matter is that even though Dee Lee says that Black folks do not read you must remember a larger majority of them do not read either. I am tell you the truth. The largest population of people on Assistance in America are white people not black people. All those people that are always saying that black folks do not read, especially white folks need to look at the statistics more closely. There are a large part of their population that does not read or write than our, black, population. Since they are the dominate population all those ignorant white people that live in West Virginia, Virginia, North and South Dakota, Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, North and South Carolina, Utah, etc. are inclusive of the population that does not read or write. Remember that white people, the dominate culture of this country, always have to make themselves seem more cultured and sophisticated. Just want to inform you that being an degreed African American and African Studies person, I had to look into this type of information on a regular basis. Therefore, what the white folks speak of as truth is not necessarily the truth once you know how the population of America is put together since 1619.
am from zambia and i read this artical via an e-mail from family living in the states. i belive black people, am talking about you and i can either use this information positively or negativley...
dee lee in her artical seems to realise hoe powerful a people we are! and how successful we can be if only we can work together.. yes the global community we have imporved not only in talent as she claims but in interlect.... i love my skin, i am black and a university student.. and in my street are two white kids who failed to go to college, the choice of ones conviction to read does not based on the colour of their skin.
am hurt by her lack of euphemism, but encouraged at the fact that if we work together we can be a better people.
1 love

I can't imagine that DIVINE BEINGS are reacting to this crap! What the heck will any DIVINE BEING want to be so called "successful" like  corpses? Don't all of you see these entities are decomposing? Do any of you want to decompose like the entities? What the heck? can't someone see that this is a ploy to get you guys working harder to even more empowers the corpses system to continue spinning? Man, I can write a book on this and I am seriously thinking of writing a book! Instead let me tell everyone that its your anger that is wanted and surely we have fallen so cheap to it. Common people shine your eyes well well!!

Ndifor ANKH HORUS
this author's thinking is so myopic
how can a black man become america's president without reading?
how about phil emeagwali?
Ben carson?
the numerous black people in the congress...
not to mention the "black-dominated" entertainment industry
i guess it's the author of this article that doesn't read

Put away the IPODS, Limit Television,Control emotions and READ! This article is a wake up call to not only African Americans, but HARDWORKING PEOPLE everywhere! It is very clear that the WEALTHY people (usually Republicans) intend to implement a continuous cycle of enslavement of hardworking people everywhere. Where do you see the wealthy on weekdays and weekends? On weekdays, the wealthy are usually in the library with their children,or in a physical fitness or financial center. On weekends, the wealthy are in a church setting called "The Family" very much like the 6th Street Church in Washington(see Rachel Maddow), studying how to take advantage of the poor by using the Bible or the Name of God, or traveling or at an enriching activity like the museum learning about other cultures. On weekdays, where are the HARDWORKING PEOPLE? Usually working an 8 hour shift. On weekends, Hardworking people are either asleep working overtime or in church because of the struggle. Hardworking people who attend church, usually become more emotional in church (because of the struggle) and in the Name of God, are also the ones that are taken advantage of the most by the ministers through guilt trips about tithes and offerings. Ministers are literally taught in Theological School to "work the crowd and use conditioning" so that uncontrollable emotions follow a sermon which prompts congregants to give more money, remain ignorant of the Bible and walk in spiritual blindness. The wealthy congregants usually get the best seats in the church and usually hold the top positions in the church. Thus, the wealthy even control the churches.
While the wealthy families are somewhat structured, they still remain very jealous of the love and bonding hardworking families have. Therefore, the wealthy are also busily working through the media and other means to tear our families apart--sometimes using our own to do it. So, I do not believe that this article is primarily aimed at African Americans, but instead,is a political move to DIVIDE HARDWORKING PEOPLE. If this article IS primarily about African Americans, then ask yourselves "Why are African Americans the target again at this point in time"? Do African Americans have something that the wealthy want at this time or in 2012 when another Presidential election occurs? In my opinion, it seems that many wealthy Republicans are now living in fear because minorities are quickly becoming the majority. If the hardworking people (mostly Democrats) can somehow be divided, then the wealthy(usually Republicans) stand a chance of returning to power to further place hardworking Americans in unemployment and soup lines again while their corrupt big businesses continue to thrive and rip off the average hardworking person in 2012. So, thank you, for the wake up call--actually HARDWORKING PEOPLE are wide awake and still have not forgotten the Bush Administration and look forward to 2012.
I understand totally as I too and my people have been mistreated by white man. I am a Canadian Mohawk Native and stand for my people and African American/ Canadian. Together we will achieve. We do not need te government..they need us!
I almost thought we have let go of our differences but judging from what I read I don't think we have.
The truth is somethings she has mentioned are true, things like awarding best speakers that awarding best doers and things like we like to buy fancy things inorder for us to be seen and neglecting taking care of our communities and families as a result we have a large number of black children that are raised by a single parent.
What she is ignoring about reading is Our Education back then was distroyed by a White man who forced Blacks to learn how to please a White man, now please don't blame Blacks for not reading because back then there was nothing for a black man to read but now we are opening doors I do admit we are not there as yet but sooner or later we will get there.

Fani Masoka
Proudly Black South African
People have we forgotten "Roots" and the William Lynch letters? Don't let these white folk fool you, if it wasn't for psychology they wouldn't have shit! If it wasn't for our African books they wouldn't have psychology! We are stronger than they want us to know, read Frantz Fanon's "Wretched of the Earth", it's still being used today to break down Iraq. Why do they have to go to such extremities to make a people believe they are weak, pay attention. Remember never let them get into your head and stop agreeing with these wretched people, have you not read your history books? Do you not know everything you do was taught by the massa'? Nothing in this letter is true, unless you agree with it! They need followers, we do not need leaders!
Hmm.
While SOME of us have taken the time to read and expand our knowledge through books and other educational outlets from all over the world, there is still a vast majority of Blacks who REALLY don't feel like doing any of this.

This is where the Talented Tenth comes in.
If 300 African-Americans enroll in UCLA, the theory is that only 30 will graduate with a PhD in engineering. Where is the other 90 percent? In Welfare lines or struggling to get and maintain their own in a world that is ignorant and almost emotionally barren to their causes.

While I agree that the weakness in the black community comes from the messy and IGNORANT teachings of slave times,
I also recognize that many use it for a cop out for their laziness.
Just like ignorant whites, like the Author of this letter, use us as a cop-out for a nation that THEY HELPED SINGLE-HANDEDLY RUIN.
I'm sorry.
The argument can be pulled, stretched, ripped, shredded, and reformed but ultimately, this nation is cold and mean and sympathy will not be found.

If a White man takes time off or takes work leave then he is a man who knows his limits and gives himself a break.

If a Mexican or a Black person does it, the general populous spits that they are lazy and disgusting.
It's unfair, but as long as there are Blacks and Whites in America,
there will be blacks blaming whites for everything
and whites blaming blacks for everything.

Welcome to America, Where the Blacks are Lazy and The Whites are just as lazy but get mad at the black guys for being so lazy.
I'm black and proud of being BLACK. Even in slavery days our ancestors who were fed scraps from the masters table took those scraps and came up with delicious delicacies.
I can go a day, a week even with out a wrist watch but can I leave the house as the young lady I am with out combing my hair? Can I drive down the highway without a traffic light? Can I go one day without using the toilet? Before you bash black people do some research and you'll realize the things that We can't do with out were invented by a BLACK person.
Black people will unite when the time comes for it. Look at history and you will see that also.
This was sent to me by my ex-wife with whom I share 3 Beautiful and Talented Black Children ... Below Is My Response ... I have posted it un-edited as this is and was and always will be quite personal ... Good Morning XXXXXXX - You know ... It' hard to know where this comes from with you ... To some degree I know that you know that I know all of this already ... You and I have sat for far too many long nights together discussing my own personal role in where OUR people are and how I am or am not serving them to my greatest potential for you to forget how it is I will respond to this ... Read this as the woman who shares with me 3 of my 7 Black Children and give the response a fair read as you have in your possession 3 of my 7 Black Children and to truly serve them is to CONFRONT these TRUTHS not just ummm-hmmm them today and conveniently forget the FACTS that will lead our children to one day have to face these REALITIES themselves without the support they deserve ... I have had these feelings for far too long to be offended by these statements of TRUTH ... Unfortunately, these statements of FACT are like any ... You can take them a part and a side from the underlying root of these TRUTHS or FACTS ... There is all of like exists CAUSE & EFFECT ... There is a CAUSE for these EFFECTS on the Black Community and it is interesting enough that all the statements she makes about Black People can be made of any POOR PEOPLE ... You know as well as I coming up through our adolescent and young adult lives that while we may have wanted to see things differently ... MONEY talks in this FAIR society ... The Secret To The Success Of Any Capitialist System Of Society ... Because we know this is not about Governence but about gain and profit ... Is the exisitence of a perminent underclass ... Be them immigrant or enslaved there is no way for the Have's to Have without a disporportionate number of Have Nots ... The Trick Has Always Been The Carrot Method ... The idea that there could be a Talented Tenth responsible for the upliftment of our people might lead one to believe that Talent is the Answer ... As eloquently as DuBois may have framed it it is no more than a theory, as to raise an individual with the consciousness that is required to BELIEVE that s/he has this responsibility is to raise a child into a man that is not empowered by the challenge but overwhelmed by the obvious magnitude of controdiciton ... Emancipation moved Black people form slaves to indentured servents and schre croppers ... The Civil Rights Movement set us on a path to INTEGRATION into a CORRUPT system of governance that places the highest value on the voice that can pay the highest price ... Lobbiest and back door dealers run this country and this economic system ... The Madoffs have MADE OFF with far more WHITE MONEY than Black and the reality is that while she states the percentage of our wealth we choose to blow on Christmas she doesn't compare it to whatever unGODly percentage of Money non-Blacks in this instance spend ... Additonally, she fails at every turn to place any responsibility on the OPPRESSOR as if to ENSLAVE those who have been manipulated by their collective STRUGGLE and mired in IGNORANCE should be ENSLAVED ... My ultimate preception is that she is looking simply for the RISE ... This stream of e-mail exchanges that bring consciousness to the ignorant as a momentary lapse in judgement before the idea of revolution is quieled by the need to pay the RENT or the CABLE or whatever other control that the SYSTEM uses to levy its' power ... The REAL TRUTH is that as unfortunate as it may be ... Our Talented Tenth is not ignorant anymore and we do know that any stance for OUR people is a threat to OUR place in the sun of the promised land ... Tupac spoke about bringing together the 90% ... The Bloods, The Crips, The Kings, the poor, the hungry, the broken and what did it garner him ... MATYRDOM ... And now Jay Z has the podium our people use nowadays to advance our MOVEMENT and he knows better ... I was in the Coporate Offices ALONE ... Remember ... Way before he wrote this song ... But he knows in the brief time he has spent there taht the writing is on the wall ... Truth is this requires more than MONEY, more than FAITH, more than HOPE, more than any ONE OF US has to OFFER ... I promised you to keep our children happy by not burdening them with their responsibility too soon ... Malcolm knows he is named after one of our SAINTS ... Does Marcus know ... Does Nailah Aliye know that she was named REGAL SUCCESS in two of the original languages of OUR people ... Can WE in good conscience raise them as Soldiers of a Revolution that has lost so much momentum that we only respond to the rantings of old White Women ... Who as much as they may want to help ... Could never understand the LOSS that is embedded in the Souls of Black Folk ... Can she imagine Growing Up Black ... Can she do anymore than READ about Black Boy ... Does she know what it is to be the Native Son ... To be Black is A Gift & A Curse ... The challenge is not the Rise To The Top ... It is the standing up after your Fall From Grace ... And Believe Me ... For Every One Of The Talented Tenth That Has Been The Secret To Their Success ... Not in Shelter from the Storm but Endurance through the Fire ... You and I share 3 young BLACK children ... All of them a member by birth of the Talented Tenth ... You tell me what is next for them ... Tell me that if I explain too well to them that their troubles in Bedstuy were no more than a result of their Leadership Position in a COMMUNITY that can not due without their LEADERSHIP yet can not stand to be LED that they won't be even Greyer ... Tell me that if I take them to the cracks in the Glass Ceiling that I have made myself with my own hands, mind, body and soul that they will not be overwhelmed by the heights from which they will have to fall from to be half of that which you in your heart know they are meant to be ... The bottom line is I know you very well XXXXX ... So to which of these VICES do you believe I have fallen ... Every job you have ever known me to have has been in the Service of OUR PEOPLE ... It is my inability to use my TALENTS to CON the masses and the minorities for the sake of Gain that continues to present to me my ultimate challenges ... I can not move our people witout money ... HELL ... I can't even see my kids without MONEY ... Yet the premise for this piece is Financial Security and some sort of Awareness to the idea that we are all provided this equal opportunity and BLACK FOLK just simply do not know how to take advantage of them ... Ridiculous ... The lasting effect of the theory of the Talented Tenth may be the shire magnitude of the statement itself ... Knowing that Nature and Nurture play an equal role in the development of intelligence and that either as a deterent can easily be overcome by the commitment of the SOUL to change, the idea that 10% of us should be responsible for the upliftment of the other 90% is too daunting a responsibility especially considering the negative influences the system employs to enslave our minds ... The reality is that the more engrained the Talented Tenth becomes in the system itself - which subsequently is one of the requirements for success within the system - the greater the divide within out COMMUNITY, which is why our children are ridiculed by the majority of OUR PEOPLE for their diction and elloquence ... Which is the reason why Michal Jordan no matter how much he gives in SECRET to OUR people will never drive the movement either with his persona or his actual person ... Which is why a HUSTLER is reverred as a leader and a MATYR is only remembered for his Gangster Persona and not his REVOLUTIONARY PERSON ... Truth is ... That the Truth Hurts ... We as a PEOPLE are losing ground everyday ... We have become distant form each other and our COMMUNITY is dying ... Yet I still can't bring MYSELF to introduce my children to the path of our PEOPLES PLIGHT beacuse I know that if they so choose it is easier for them to NOT take up the STRUGGLE than to SACRIFICE themselves to the STRUGGLE ... The bottom line is I Know all of this Already ... But my humility and disinterst in the path of inclusion leads the people that know me best to call me things like, "Broke Ass Nigga" ... You were once a friend to me ... You were once much more to me then that ... Now you are the Mother of my 3 BLACK Children ... You tell me what they should know of this Burden ... You tell me what they should know about this Plight ... You tell me what they should be shelter from and what they should hear about little boys hung in Mississippi for saying hello to White Women or Little Girls Burned in Churches ... Or why a great majority of us on a daily basis don't recognize the responsibility we have to one another ... Or why one young man in Far Rockaway can be killed by another young man who was once a childhood friend ... She says we do nothing about this anymore we just meet and talk ... I haven't been to a rally or meeting or conference in I don't know how long ... But i know there is a High-Risk Youth Drop-In Center in Far Rockaway that is only there because that boy that died could have been ME, or ONE OF MY BROTHERS or even worse ONE OF MY SONS ... I know that there is a Youth HIV/AIDS Education Initiative actively patroling the streets of our impoverished neighborhoods empowering the CHILDREN and YOUTH of our COMMUNTIES that was not there before last year ... And I know this because these are MY ACTS ... My hands wrote the words that needed to be written for the voices of our people to be heard ... I may not have written the checks but I made sure that someone knew they had to ... And all for what ... So that some White Woman can call me into her office and tell me that anyone could have written those proposals ... That the needs of my family shouldn't come before the needs of an organization that she has only run for 27 days ... And I have to eat all of it because ... I need to see my kids and to do that I have to make sure I pay the toll ... I need to feed my family and for that I say nothing ... I humble myself once more eventhough I am the Selfish one ... This system was not originally intended to include us as anything more than the permanent underclass which serves the greater needs of the very select few ... And any REAL BLACK MAN willing to progress change for OUR PEOPLE is not welcomed ... No matter how high up the ladder you may climb before the TRUE NATURE of you CALLING presents itself to them ... REVOLUTION IS THE ANSWER ... HOW MANY FOLK DO YOU KNOW STILL DOWN FOR THE CAUSE ... ARE YOU ONE OF THEM ... AM I EVEN ONE OF THEM ... WHERE ARE OUR LEADERS RESPONSES TO THIS ... OUR PRESIDENT IS SUPPOSED TO BE BLACK NOW RIGHT ... WHAT IS HIS RESPONSE ... I'll Tell You ... Nothing at all ... He has already shown himself to be too Black in his recent handling of the Dr. Gates issue and I would venture to say that this is aimed more at him than you or I or Troy or Dionne or Malcolm or Nailah or Marcus ... This is a trap ... This is Booty-Chatter ... This is non-sense ... If all the Black Community needed to do was fall in line with the Great White and save and read then we'd be a lot further along then we are now ... This is a complex issue not even remotely well served by this IDIOTS attempts to mobilize our Passions and manipulate our emotions ... And this is the response it requires ... Not STAY STRONG ... STAY FOCUSED ... STAY EDUCATED ... We no longer know what the PRIZE is ... So how the HELL ARE SUPPOSE TO KEEP OUR EYE ON IT! O.G.
A lot of the comments i have read talk about fighting towards economic equality or something to that effect, i agree fully. just imagine a world of the sort..black ppl leading in economics, would you really still be worried about what the white man thinks ? i know i would not.
Not just blacks, but everyone who stands in the way of old white money and its use of all of us as slaves. That includes "indentured whites" who are also slaves to old white money and told to feel proud and turn against blacks (though we are still essentially slaves), divide and conquer pit the chinese vs taiwan and tibet, indonesians vs malays, indians vs pakistanis, sunni vs shia muslims. They attack and smear the socialists for helping people. They gamble with our 401k, mortgage bonds, run off with hundreds of billions of dollars then fold companies and force us to pay. They send our jobs overseas, pitting Americans against foreigners, all so they can get ever cheaper slave labor. A whole lot of slave whites voted for Obama because we are just as sick as blacks of the slave system.
