Rabobank suffers, forced to kick Rasmussen out of the Tour

Michael Rasmussen is out.  Rabobank showed him the door this afternoon.

Rasmussen has been under suspicion of doping all year because of 3 missed drug tests.  But now the Rabobank Team discovered that Rasmussen has being lieing about his whereabouts during those missed drug tests and during training sessions.

Scandal has surrounded the Tour de France for several years now.  There were numerous allegations against Lance Armstrong, then Floyd Landis failed a drug test in the final days of last year's Tour de France.

This year, despite increased attention from Tour directors and team managers, there's been lots of scandal and drop outs.  180+ riders started the tour, but less than 140 will finish.

Pathetic.  These doping scandals are ruining the sport.

Let's just hope that whoever wins this thing is clean!
