When I was in high school, I did stage crew. Yeah, I was that awkward. It was always funny because no one wanted to be backstage; everyone wanted to be center stage. As I got older, a paradigm shift occurred and suddenly the backstage shadows is the absolute coolest place to be... So... I guess I was an epically early trend setter...? There isn’t a woman out there who can’t relate to Rachel Antonoff’s Spring 2010 collection. Cozy, pastel colors. Florals. Jumpers. Essentially, it’s like reliving your childhood, paper-doll style, in one concise collection! Set in a Lower East Side theater, Antonoff succeeded at walking us through the whimsy and cutesy nature of little girls (and not to mention the dark side of the Disenchanted forest!) with some simple, yet thematically flawless blouses, dresses, pants and jumpers.
