Image from source, Newsbusters It never fails. If I'm on a message board, or the comments section on somebody's blog responding to the rampant stupidity of something or someone, I will myself have a moment of stupid. I'll misspell something, I'll make an unfortunate typo, something. And seconds after hitting the "post" button, I'll realize what I've done, and have an oh crap! moment. Much the same thing happened to Rachel Maddow on her program on Thursday. Maddow was covering the silly multi-thousand (millions!) protest on the Capitol steps, and poking fun at orange-faced John Boehner. The facial-twitch affected House Minority Leader was gettin' ... I've been saying for a long time that the idea of "the middle" as it pertains to politics, has moved dramatically to the right. People like Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, Laura Ingraham, Michelle Malkin, Mark Levin, et. al, are extreme right-wingers. But they're treated these days as simply "the right." Or by hard-right wingers as "too centrist." Because of this, anyone to the left of these people are now labeled as "far left." But they're not. How is this affecting the Republican Party? It's turning them into a party of rabid rightists, that's what. Visit msnbc.com for Breaking News , World News , and ... Read Full Story

I don't know if this is news but it is newsworthy - the Repugnican Party has become the party of extremist nutcases, living in some netherworld where neither truth nor compassion has a place. It's the world of Limbaargh, Palin, Coulter, and almost 99 percent of elected Repugnicans across the country. On yesterday's Meet The Press, Rachel Maddow made an interesting point about the way the Democrats ought to govern that I think is worth another mention. At issue was the high unemployment rate, and whether the current stimulus plan will solve the unemployment problem as it unfolds, or whether additional moves -- sure to be met with conventional political opposition -- are required. David Gregory, sizing up the current state of play, asked...

Here is video of MSNBC's Rachel Maddow last night doing her best to make fun of, and mock the anti-ObamaCare "Tea Party" rally. At around the 2:00 mark of the video above, she dings GOP Minority Leader John Boehner for saying the U.S. Constitution has a "Preamble." She said it does not have a Preamble! Of course it does! It is in the banner that headlines Freedom's Lighthouse: We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect...
