It has become clear that the Indianapolis Colts defense has trouble stopping the run.  It also seems that the Colts are reluctant to sign Chuck Norris, my earlier suggestion ( A huge mistake).  They need some bulk and muscle up front on the D-line to aid the run defense.  With that in mind, the Indianapolis Colts need to go after these guys: Imagine the guy on the right lining up at Defensive Tackle!  Dominance. The summer is winding down and fall will be here before we know it. With fall comes the opening of the NFL Football season and also the innaugral season at Lucas Oil Stadium the new home of the Indianapolis Colts. The Colts open what promises to be another great season with the Chicago Bears on 9/7. Indianapolis Colts defensive end Dwight Freeney is inactive for Sunday's game in Houston with an abdominal injury. Colts defensive back Kelvin Hayden (knee) and wide receiver Anthony Gonzalez (knee) join Freeney on the inactive list. Raheem Brock is set to start for Freeney. The Colts also signed defensive end Josh Thomas this week.

Both were waived Tuesday after signing with the Colts to add depth to a defense hit by several injuries. Thomas rejoined the team last week when Indy wasn't sure if four-time Pro Bowl defensive end Dwight Freeney could play with an abdominal injury at Houston.

Freeney was out of practice all week with an abdomen injury for the Colts, who have won 19 consecutive regular-season games.
