It is the first installment of the Indiana Jones trilogy. The story introduces us to archaeologist and adventurer Indiana Jones, who is hired by the U.S. government to go on a quest for the mystical lost Ark of the Covenant. Accompanied by his old friend Sallah and ex-flame Marion Ravenwood, he must retrieve the ark before the Nazis and his adversary, French archaeologist Rene Belloq acquire it first.
Actor Shia LaBeouf reportedly set off smoke alarms at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C. during a break from filming Transformers 2 . LaBeouf, 21, received a stern warning and a lecture from museum officials after he lit up in a restroom (which is off- limits for smoking).
