Sony Pictures just released some official stills of 'The Karate Kid,' which stars Jaden Smith, Jackie Chan and Academy Award nominee Taraji P. Henson . Macchio, who played Daniel LaRusso in the three "Karate Kid" films, said that the casting of Jaden - son of Hollywood superstar Will Smith , who is also producing the movie - makes sense in the film's storyline.
