Sony Pictures just released some official stills of 'The Karate Kid,' which stars Jaden Smith, Jackie Chan and Academy Award nominee Taraji P. Henson .
The film is a new version of the 1984 hit of the same name that starred Ralph Macchio, Pat Morita , and Elisabeth Shue .

Will Smith is planning a Karate Kid remake and called up Ralph Macchio to talk about the project, starring Smith’s son, Jaden.
“It was very cool,” Macchio told E! News. “He called and said, ‘Would you mind getting on the phone with my son?’ I felt like Yoda to young Skywalker.”
