His opinions , like this tagline, may change at any moment. One of the NFL’s major stories this year could be an American sitcom called the “The Assimilation of Randy Moss.” At the start of the season Moss was a down-and-out malcontent; a tarnished diamond in the rough of the NFL projects known as the Oakland Raiders. Then he gets shipped off to a New England boarding school, shares a room with Captain America ... Read Full Story

New England Patriots quarterback Matt Cassel threw four touchdown passes, two to former Oakland Raiders wide receiver Randy Moss, the Patriots scored 35 points before half time, and simply beat up the Raiders Sunday at Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum 49-26. New England dominated this game from the start, and even when the victory was assured never let up. With the Miami Dolphins and New York Jets both victorious the Patriots are still in a three-way tie for first in the AFC East Division. In a lot of ways this game seemed like a cathartic release for New England, as if they were making the Raiders ... Read Full Story

Two Oakland Raiders defensive players are a bit lighter in the pocketbook this week; according to Josh Dubow of the Associated Press, defensive tackle Warren Sapp was fined $75,000 by the NFL for his confrontation with game officials that led to his ejection last week. Patriots wide receiver Randy Moss addresses the media during his postgame press conference at Gillette Stadium on Sunday, November 08, 2009. (On his 71-yard touchdown reception) "Just a play, just we executed. It was the play we called and everybody did what they had to do and 71 yards later it was a touchdown. That is what I want to know.  Powers was doing a good job most of the game.  Jennings was always getting burned, like he normally does.Only thing I can think of is they wanted to protect Powers?  Knowing Moss will blow up no matter what you do, so they put Jennings on him knowing Brady would go to him, maybe that makes Brady look at Moss less when Powers is on him?  This doesn't make a lot of sense to me, just the only thing I can think of.
