> H “Rap” Brown, known to many of the 1960's/70's Civil Rights and Black Power Movements as the original master rapper. Hundreds of parents of Peekskill middle- and high-school students received a recorded phone message last week apologizing for little Autum Ashante's poem, titled "White Nationalism Put U in Bondage."

"Black lands taken from your hands, by vampires with no remorse," the aspiring actress and poet wrote. "They took the gold, the wisdom and all the storytellers. They took the black women, with the black man weak. Made to watch as they changed the paradigm of our village. "Yeah white nationalism is what put you in bondage. Pirates and vampires like Columbus, Morgan and Darwin."

Your Jesus is Fake. Your church fake.Your father the devil.

You say you follow Jesus. But do you really? Jesus stood up to those in power when he walked this earth. Jesus called the powerful “ white washed graves that look pretty but are full of dead mans bones” When is the last time you stood in the face of the powerful and told them of their evil. Jesus said to those in power in his day “ you are from your father the devil”. Does your church stand before power and tell them they are from the devil ? Or does the leaders of your church kiss the back side of this world’s leaders and seek to sit at their table. You say you follow Jesus but do you really? In a land that sings songs of Jesus’ mercy they have nearly 3 million people in jail mostly poor, black and brown.
You claim Jesus as lord the Prince of peace and then you allow your government to shock and awe the people of Iraq with weapons of mass destruction killing hundreds of thousands of innocents. You preach of Jesus healing the sick yet millions in this so called Christian land have no health Insurance. You preach how Jesus fed the hungry while you complain about those getting food stamps. How is it that from the start of the USA you had the teachings of Jesus and yet you nearly wiped out the native Americans , enslaved the blacks and stole the lands of others. On which one of Jesus’ teaching did you justify this? I could go on but point made.
The fact is you didn’t have Jesus when you started and you don’t have him today. Jesus said that “ the whole world is in the power of the wicked one “the devil. So the devil is the god of this wicked world, So when you say One Nation under god you are correct. Under the god of this world. Jesus said my Kingdom is not of this world. So all you who are enjoying your high positions in this world and enjoying the favor of the rulers of this world enjoy while you can. But don‘t claim Jesus. Jesus is coming against all of you. Your governments and your fake religions have been judged and been found lacking. If you knew the real Jesus you cold never have done what you have done. So who are the ones who have stood before the powers of this world and told them as did Jesus “ you are from your father the devil” ?

Liberatory Practices

Decolonization – Process of overthrowing and then removing the Eurocentric value and belief systems (colonies) implanted in our minds by mis-education, indoctrination and mass media manipulation that keep us psychologically, emotionally, materially and spiritually tied to Europeans as their victims or servants. To decolonize the African mind is to cleanse and liberate by re-Africanizing the African mind (Chinweizu, 1987).

Intellectual Disobedience – Twenty-first century corollary to Henry David Thoreau’s (1860) notion of civil disobedience that holds that African people have a moral imperative to resist all attempts by the European dominated educational hegemony to constrict, restrict or regulate the content of their education (Hotep, 2000).

Ma’at (Mdw Ntr) – Seven thousand-year-old Kemetic (ancient Egyptian) term for the divine law of truth, justice, order, harmony, balance, in short, righteousness. The restoration, maintenance and preservation of ma’at was considered the highest social ideal by the ancient Africans of the Nile River Valley civilizations. Today, it is the motive and goal of all conscious, African freedom fighters (Karenga, 1986;Hilliard, 1994; Carruthers, 1995; Ashby, 1996).

Re-Africanization – Intergenerational, family-based process of reclamation, revivification and reincorporation of African cultural knowledge and values as the prerequisite for establishing a 21st century African social order rooted in the traditional wisdom of African people (Akoto & Akoto, 2000).

Sankofa (Twi) – Akan concept, symbol and social practice adopted by late 20th century Pan African nationalist scholars and activists, which refers to the practice of learning from the past to build for the future. For African people, this means having the desire to not only to understand the worldview of our ancient African ancestors, but also the wisdom to adopt or adapt their social practices and philosophical beliefs when they will help us establish financially independent, emotionally wholesome and nurturing families and autonomous, sovereign, self-sufficient communities. Sankofa practice demands confronting the Maafa by respecting life, nature and the wisdom of our African ancestors, establishing viable extended families, supporting African centered institutions and organizations, and creating social and economic ties throughout the African World Community (Wase, 1998; Akoto & Akoto, 2000).

Goals of Mis-Education

Conceptual Incarceration (CI) – State of African intellectual imprisonment in European value and belief systems occasioned by ignorance of African and Native American philosophical, cultural and historical truths. CI is the goal of miseducation, the end result of deculturalization, and the major obstacle to innovative, creative and liberatory African thought and practice (Nobles, 1986).

Diseducation – Public school practice of arresting and undermining the intellectual development of African students resulting in “pervasive, persistent and disproportionate” academic under achievement.

Diseducation is a strategy of deculturalization, the maafa and the source of the Black-White student achievement gap (Carruthers, 1994).

Education For All – Termed coined at a 1990 World Bank conference in Thailand to promote western-style primary education in Africa, which serves to “rob Africans of their indigenous knowledge and language” promoting what Dr. Birgit Brock-Utne calls the “recolonization of the African mind” (Brock-Utne, 2000).

Learned Indifference (LI) – Pervasive and debilitating African psychological state characterized by disinterest in issues, causes and organizations that promote the advancement of African people. LI is a function of conceptual incarceration and the end goal of deculturalizaton and miseducation (X, 1996).

Mentacide – Deliberate and systematic European-orchestrated process terminating in the destruction of the African mind with the ultimate objective the extirpation of African people. End goal of deculturalization, miseducation and the maafa (Wright, 1984).

Utengano (Swahili) – Deeply entrenched, intergenerational African American predisposition to accept disunity, division and disorder in the African community as normal. Utengano is an expression of learned indifference, an outgrowth of deculturalization, and a strategy of the maafa (Hotep, 2002).

When people who have so much in common turn on each other the devils win. Look at all the wars in the world and you can see the hand of the devils. They get people who should be on the same side to fight and kill each other. This weakens both sides and allows the devils to maintain control. When the Crips and the Bloods war it weakens both and the devils watch and smile. When westside wars with southside the devils watch and smile. Now the devils are attempting to start a war between Blacks and Latinos. If they do, then the devils will use this to screw both sides. Lets not fall for the devils old tricks this time. If black and latino unite we will have kick ass numbers . Together we will be able to give the devils a death blow. Right between their eyes. But I warn you they are attempting to start a war between black and latino. They know that black and latino unity means their rule is over. If we fight each other the devils win. Given all this we pledge that we will seek to unite with all gangs. We pledge to call a truce and stop the blood letting. We pledge not to allow a single incident between members who fail to live by this pledge to reunite gang wars. We pledge to work it out. We pledge to defend our families our communities our friends and each other from anyone who seeks to do us harm. We do not seek confrontation with the police or the government. But we can no longer allow anyone and we mean anyone to kill us without reason and without a response . We pledge to use all our power . As we in New Bedford know, my brother Daniel "DJ" Correia gave his life not only to save a 9 year old deaf child who could not hear the sounds of the bullets, but also in a movement to rid of genocidal poison out of our neighborhood. As many of us are still selling this same poison on the same soil his life was taken on, I must speak on DJ's behalf, because he can not for himself any longer. I cannot place blame on the individuals selling these poisonous products, because of the lack of education and lack of opportunity that our own tax dollars do not provide, however, let me educate you on what is happening. While we are quick to say some people are working for the Government as snitches for giving information that provides jail time and such, we are quick to dismiss the people that indirectly work for the government selling their poison to our own for them. You see we are at war that just hasn't been declared. When a country goes to war, the war games consist of many elements that are loyally followed. Some of these elements are chemical warfare, biological warfare, an intelligent information board, Guerrilla warfare, as well as character assassination, etc. Behind enemy lines the undeclared war against us has all of these elements, now let me explain. Lets start with the guerrilla warfare, that is being practiced with all of our local, state, as well as federal police departments killing poor, and black people at an alarming rate, with recent examples like Lamont Cruz, Shaun Bell and many others. The second type of warfare I would like to bring up is biological. With man made as well as natural diseases being spread through out black communities such as AIDS, Hepatitis C, and others without our schools and other tax paying educational resources, educating the public on how to slow down and stop the spread of these biological diseases should not only be viewed as a crime, but viewed as a biological warfare against us, the poor who are coincidentally mostly black. The third I would like to bring up is character assassination, that was used in almost every war. Using the media, local as well as national and international, we the people that inherit hip hop as a culture are being portrayed as gang bangers and thugs. The fourth I would like to bring up is the building of intelligent. The Black Panther Party for self defense came up with the no snitching slogan, because the police were and are for that matter the number one enemy to our people. Giving up information, or snitching per say was considered giving them intelligent about our people that they would use against us. Today we take that totally out of context letting the enemy pit us against each other, flipping the real snitches, consequently making them heroes. Last but definitely not least, chemical warfare. This warfare is used mostly with the chemicals we know as heroin, cocaine, crack, and other hard drugs that are sold on the streets. You see when opportunity is taken from the people causing a wrath of poverty, we as natural human beings will look at anything that will provide food, health care, a roof over our heads and other things that are essential to life, our God giving human right we are born with, doing what ever to get it. Now I’m trying to be sensitive with my words, because I don’t want to offend anyone, for I was a guilty, but now see the big picture. While we are creating an environment of competition that creates war amongst each other, we are all missing the big picture. Yes we have to eat, yes we need shelter, and yes we need to care for our health, however our resources lye with us, our people in Africa, the big picture. Why are we killing each other over the things we are supposed to have as humans? That’s what it all boils down to. We are not fighting over drugs, or land we don’t own, we THINK we are fighting over essentials we need to live. Resources that are already ours. Resources that was taken from us and now we fight each other for. Did you know that 4% of the people in this country have more money than the other 96%? They are home laughing and discussing your fate over dinner!! We are never going to solve our own problems fighting each other over the human rights that God herself gave to us at birth. As I write this I think about what role my brother would have played on this planet if he were not killed, or should I say assassinated? I must say this and say it with all do respect. When we see the big picture the biggest problem is that man made chemical created by the CIA and put in our neiborhoods for resale. Think about that. We will kill a snitch for helping out the Government, but we look up to the people that provide the Government with money to finance this undeclared war against us, by selling THEIR poison to our own people. The words double agent come to my mind when I deeply think about it. I’m just being real. Did you know the CIA introduced crack to the ghetto in the 80’s and used the money made to buy weapons to supply to people that was over throwing their Government in other countries? Did you know that this was proven and Ronald Reagan was guilty of this crime never being accountable. Now this genocidal drug money is being used to finance the undeclared war on us, at the same time making enormous profit of of our hard work and our lives.
