Tom Reddin resigned as CEO of Richard Petty Motorsports on Friday for what the team called personal reasons. RPM's four drivers were informed of the resignation in a team meeting at Lowe's Motor Speedway. The former NASCAR team owner left ESPN in January after a three-year stint, opting for a consulting job with his former boss, Rick Hendrick. Beyond that, Evernham owns a dirt track and is back on TV as an analyst for cable network Speed.
