Contact lens wearers are being warned against using a certain type of contact lens solution
It has been reported that the large amount of sudden eye infections found in people who wear contact lenses, is directly related to the contact lens solution known as ReNu with MoistureLoc. The solution has been recalled by the manufacturer, but is the damage already done?

We recently wrote that Bausch & Lomb, maker of ReNu with MoistureLoc, settled around 600 lawsuits involving the recalled contact lens solution . Now, Bausch & Lomb is focusing on ReNu marketing. A little more than three years after defective ReNu with MoistureLoc Contact Lens Solution was linked to scores of serious and potentially blinding eye infections, the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) says it is taking steps to improve contact lens safety. According to the Associated Press, documents obtained in the course of lawsuits against AMO show that the company received 9 such reports in the year prior to the Complete MoisturePlus recall, but failed to properly report them.
