London is one of the costliest city in the world and finding a rental apartment can be little tricky if not difficult.

If you live in central London then you would like to get apartment in central London or in vicinity, however central london apartment are costlier. If you can’t afford central London apartment then your next choice would be to find apartment in outer London within commutable distance.

There are plenty of localities such as Muswell Hill, Islington, Camden Town, Finchley and other localities in North and North West London which offer good quality apartments with lesser cost.

Distance also plays a very important role in making decision. Within Zone 3-4 which gives you about 30-45 minutes of Journery time to Central London you can get a good apartment within your budget.

So it is all about balancing the cost and distance to narrow down a suitable apartment for you.

The next factor to consider is the council tax and utility bills. Some of apartments come with bills and council tax included which can be quite good given the fact that tax and bills constitute the bulk of your rent.
