New standard to help websites syndicate headlines and other information for broader distribution

In Drupal there's a nice feature called the aggregator, but Drupal is not for now, this is WP time.
WHat I'd like to have is a Page on the front page with rss feeds. A sort of news aggregator that would allow readers to get it all in one.
My understanding of the rss widget is that I have to put one per feed.
But I want something like "Latest news in the field" with 10 or more feeds, displayed on the same page organized /source. A sort of...
